Economic reforms

Under its economic track, UNSMIL supports economic stabilisation and institutional unification and integrity in Libya, in line with Security Council resolution 2796 (2025). The Mission facilitates inclusive dialogue among Libyan institutions, stakeholders, economic experts, and civil society - including through the Structured Dialogue. The UNSMIL-facilitated political roadmap aims to support Libyans in strengthening economic governance, public finance, resource management, and the development of a shared national economic vision that delivers tangible benefits to all Libyans across the country, including women, youth, and persons with disabilities, as well as future generations.
