Advancing women, peace and security

In line with the UNSCR 2796 (2025) and UNSMIL’s current mandate, the mission will take active measure to promote and support women’s full, equal, meaningful, and safe participation in Libya’s current political process and public life, including leadership and decision-making and to ensure women’s perspectives are integrated across the mission’s work.
